Envy

Envy is a bad quality indeed. We are often warned in the Quran and sayings of the Prophet (saw) about the danger of being envious of our brethren. If we are envious of our brother/sister, than we are questioning Allah's bounty, for indeed Allah in His infinite wisdom knows why He gives more to some than others. Let us thank Allah for the bounties He has bestowed us with and let us wish good for our fellow brethren, in this way we will please Allah and thus attain His mercy.
